VISION

The Training for Existing Business and Industry Network (TEBIN) will be the premier professional development organization for advancing workforce development education in the Alabama College System.


MISSION

The Training for Existing Business and Industry Network is an organization made up of members in Alabama's community and technical colleges that provides Training for Existing Business Industry (TEBI) or related services that:

1.  provides professional development and networking opportunities for its members;

2.  increase members knowledge of changing and future workforce needs to create better opportunities in the local community

3.  Serves as a training resource to Alabama College System, community leaders, and the general public.


GOALS


In support of the Vision and Mission, the Network holds the following goals;

1.  support the professional and career development of members and provide networking opportunities.

2.  demonstrates the value of providing existing industry training in the local community.

3.  encourage the use of TEBIN partnerships and collaborative efforts to better serve our members and to leverage workforce training resources.

4. attract and retain TEBIN professional membership to acheive long term stability.

5.  operate in accordance with Department of Postsecondary Education policies and procedures that ensure the fiscally sound stewardship of Network resources.
